Aaahz Pervect

Just in case you didn’t figure it out, Aaahz Pervect is a pseudonym. The name comes from a series of YA fantasy novels called “Myth-adventures”. The titles of which are all gags on myth for mis- or miss- and books are filled with lots of really terrible puns.

In real life I’m an old guy. I like old stuff. I live in Oregon.

The gag about programmer archeologist comes from “A Deepness in the Sky” by Vernor Vinge. The phrase has always stuck with me because it seems so apt to the majority of what technologists actually do with computers.
